This piece was created a few weeks after I saw U2 in concert - I was 10 rows off the stage! What a great night being that close to the band! The concert was an amazing display of music from the bands Joshua Tree Album - The backdrop, lights, sound, video - and Bono's electric voice, Edge and his "icy" notes on the guitar, Larry on drums, Adam on bass - fantastic musicians!!

Decided to create something different...I crushed cans of soda and screwed them into a wood canvas just to experiment with form, texture, line, color, composition, etc... - - I enjoyed the physical process of smashing the cans and the challenge of arranging them. The screws are hidden, but each can is screwed into the canvas. The back is finished with "D" hooks
and wired for hanging.
